Great experience! Because of the mixed reviews I didn't know what to expect, but overall it was great! No issues with the reservation as we were seated right away. The food was perfect, the service was perfect, and the atmosphere was beautiful! We both very much enjoyed our food (bread, calamari, chicken parm, Sunday gravy, creme brulee, and the enormous piece of carrot cake (not pictured). Arianna our server was also very attentive during our dining experience. We will definitely be back. Thank you and happy new year!
The food was outstanding! The drinks were on point and the service was great (Jan was our waitress). It’s always a good sign when you pull in and the parking lot was full. It was very festive (Christmas decor from the ceiling). Definitely coming back.
I’d like to preface this review by stating that I chose to give a 4-Star rating based on the service. I would’ve given a 5-Star review otherwise. I had a 9:45pm reservation. Mind you, this was the only reservation time available 13 days prior to the dine date. My friend & I arrived 45 minutes early & informed the hostess of this. She was very nice, as she offered to have us get a drink from the bar while we waited. The bar was PACKED with people. Nowhere to sit or wait. We stood behind a booth of a party who was eating. After 30 minutes, two seats at the bar opened up & we sat until the table was ready. We began to notice that people who came in after us were being seated before us, but we assumed that they had reservations. Until we noticed that it was 9:45pm, there were open tables, & we still hadn’t been seated. I went back to the hostess & reminded her that we were waiting, & we were sat. This gave the impression that we were forgotten about.. When we were seated, the server came over. She was nice; however, throughout the entire meal (start to finish), it was evident that she was rushing us. Within 5 minutes of us being seated, we had to decide on our meals as the kitchen was going to close in a “couple minutes”. She brought bread over & we had to ask for silverware, plates & napkins. Halfway through the meal, she placed to-go boxes on the table (that we didn’t request or need). We still weren’t done eating dinner when she asked if we wanted dessert. It was extremely uncomfortable to feel so rushed to dine. Perhaps the restaurant shouldn’t offer late reservations if the kitchen closes soon after & the wait staff feels the need to get guests out by closing time. Everything else (food/atmosphere) was amazing. I got the Filet Mignon w/ mashed potatoes & zucchini. So flavorful. Melt in your mouth steak! The Christmas decorations were beautiful.
I went here twice this holiday season to enjoy the decor and Christmas spirit! The food was good each time, someone in our party has a gluten allergy and the gluten free pasta was one of the best she’s tried! Garlic knots were doughy and undercooked but waitress was kind about it and took them off the bill. The rest of the food was delicious each time. Only complaint I have is the drinks, first time I went we ordered one of the drink specials and no one enjoyed them. 2nd time tried my go to drink and was disappointed. Not sure if it’s because they’re so busy? But the bartender could use some help or a lesson, not very good drinks
Beautiful restaurant with impeccable service and delicious food! What a hidden gem it’s no wonder their Christmas Holiday Pop-Up was so successful. Delicious appetizers, sangria and I had the Seafood fra Diavlo and it was so good! Ended the night with the best spumoni sundae.
Good Christmas Atmosphere but everything else was terrible. Won’t be coming back. Slow service, Food was not good. Everyone was not happy with their meal and definitely not worth the price. Don’t recommend the garlic knots or the pasta or the mushy chicken parm. The bread was good and the calamari but everything else was subpar
One star review! When we booked the reservation there was nothing else available but 9:30pm.
If you think you will be seated right away I would be lying to you. They skipped us 3 times and we waited 25 minutes to be seated with a reservation for 930. At this point it was 9:55 pm and kitchen closes at 10:00pm. The server said that we could still order past that time. Manager never came to apologize for standing there for 25 with a reservation. Food came In I had a Caesar salad which the cheese was so hard you couldn’t bite it. I got chicken broccoli Alfredo pasta was undercooked, chicken tasted bad like they cooked it in the morning and it was sitting there all day, it was very chewy. I asked for a strawberry mojito. Server told me they didn’t have any but then she brought me a “mojito” consisted of seltzer water and grenadine. Would I go there again absolutely NOT.
Made a reservation here for Valentine's Day. There is a parking lot and street parking. The restaurant has nice decor inside with house plants and really nice wallpaper in the dining room.
It was a really busy night and the waitress was really nice. Once we placed our orders for drinks, we received the complementary bread. The oil was good and the butter was so good, a lot better than other restaurants. There was a special menu for Valentine's Day that was a good deal but we decided to order from the menu.
The local greens had a good amount of everything, I'm not a fan of goat cheese, but the amount in the salad wasn't overpowering. The bolognese was a good size and came out really hot. The sauce was delicious and I got extra bread for it. The waitress also asked if we wanted to stagger the meal after the salad which was a nice touch. Lastly we got the tiramisu, it may be sweet for some people.
I had a good experience here and although service did take time on a busy night, I'd come back again!
